Proposed Revisions to Independence Standard

The Independence Task Force (ITF) of CPA Canada's Public Trust Committee has developed an Exposure Draft (ED) that proposes revisions to the independence standard that are contained in the Rule of Professional Conduct (RPC) 204 Independence (Rule) and the related Council Interpretations (CIs). Comments on the ED are requested by May 31, 2013. Read more>
