Available to a member experiencing temporary financial difficulty. This waiver must be reapplied for each year and cannot continue past three consecutive years. This category requires an additional condition that net worth be less than $50,000. Submit the Financial Hardship Waiver prior to dues deadline.
All waivers must meet the following conditions:

the member’s income for the (April 1- March 31) must be less than $20,000. Income for this purpose includes income from all sources except pensions, retirement savings plans and investments. Income includes income of the member and any professional corporation of which the member is a shareholder

the member does not ‘practice public accounting’
Payment Options

Visa or MasterCard accepted for dues paid online through the Members' Page only

Cheque/Money Order/Bank Draft can be mailed into the Institute office

Payment must be made payable to ICAS

All cheques must be in Canadian Dollars
Receipts
Tax receipts will not be issued.
The CRA requires that all expenses claimed on your tax return by substantiated. Please retain a copy of your 2010/11 Member Dues form and canceled cheque as proof of payment.
Avoid Late Penalties
Annual dues are due on April 30. Payments received between May 15 and July 1 will be accessed a $105.00 late fee. If payment is not received by July 1, a recommendation of suspension will be forwarded to Council under bylaw 19.
Don’t put your professional designation at risk!
Resignations
If you want to resign as a member of the Saskatchewan Institute, you must provide your intentions in writing before April 30, 2010. You can email your resignation intentions to Michelle Reimer, fax them to the Institute office (306) 569-8288 or mail them to 3621 Pasqua Street, REGINA SK S4S 6W8
As required by Bylaw 14(2), you are required to return your Saskatchewan CA certificate in order to complete your resignation in good standing.
